WE DID IT!!! We have all of our money and permission forms turned in for the field trip to the TENNESSEE AQUARIUM!!! We have been studying ocean creatures, life, etc. for the past week and we're SO excited that we get to experience our learning first hand!
*If you are going on the field trip as a chaperone, here is some info for you:
-The bus is leaving the school at 9:00 a.m. You can EITHER meet us at the school at 9:00 a.m. and follow the bus down to the aquarium (you can't ride the bus with us...not enough room) OR you can meet us at the aquarium (by the drop off circle) at 10:00 a.m.
-You will be "in charge" of 2 or 3 other students as we walk through the aquarium. I'm going to need your eyes, ears, and hands to help me watch my 20 precious kiddos!
ALSO, if you checked that your son or daughter will be bringing their own lunch for our picnic at River Park, please send it in a "throw-away" bag.
MOMS don't forget about "Muffins with Mom" on Thursday! We can't wait to share some fun songs with you. Meet us in the gym at 8:30.
A HUGE thank you to all of the wonderful parents this year! You sure do make a teacher feel appreciated! I appreciate you all too! :-) Thanks to Keri Robbins and Cindy Pendergrass for watching my class this afternoon so I could be apart of the Yates Teacher Luncheon.
There is so much going on for the rest of the year so make sure you check the calendar that I sent home last week. I will try and keep you informed as I find out information!
Here's a quick glance at the rest of the year:
