I am so excited to tell you that I have a WONDERFUL substitute teacher to fill my spot for the rest of the year! Mrs. Naomi Sharpe is a retired teacher who has a passion for teaching. She is a fabulous teacher and I feel so relieved to leave your kiddos in the hands of this teacher!
We will be starting reading groups tomorrow and math groups the next week.
I am going to be starting math timed quizzes this week. Every week, we will focus on math facts and I am testing to see the fluency of each student. I will send home a practice worksheet with your child tomorrow. Please go over these facts with your child this week.
Friday is our 100th day of school!!! Please have your child bring a zip loc baggie of 100 things! (Examples: pennies, cereal, buttons, etc. Just make sure that whatever your child brings fits in a zip loc bag!)
