This is a busy week! Here are some things that are going on and things I need to remind you of:
"The book fair is at Yates Nov. 12-16. It will be open Monday - Thursday from 7:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and Friday from 7:45 a.m. - noon. Tuesday evening, Nov. 13 will be our Build-a-Book event. Come create a memory with your child. This event is FREE for Yates students thanks to the generosity of the PTO and Title 1 funds. If you have other children who wish to make a book, they will need to purchase their book kits. Build-a-Book will be from 6-7:30 p.m. and the fair will be open as well. Breakfast with the Grands will be Thursday and Friday. We hope your child's grands (or other important adult in his/her life) will visit our school, find out what their grand student is learning and celebrate with us. Adult breakfasts will be $2.00 each; student breakfasts are $1.25 unless your child participates in the free or reduced food plan. Students from Ms. Fuller, Painter, and Rogers' classes and First Graders are invited for Thursday from 7:45 - 8:15 a.m., while Ms. Morris and Whitlock's classes and Second Graders are invited for Friday."
Our online fair runs through Nov. 27. Here is the link. http://bookfairs.scholastic.com/homepage/yates
